We champion projects and organizations that celebrate equity, honor individuality, and harness the transformative power of storytelling to inspire future generations
ABOUT MINDY
Mindy Dougherty Baiada is a Philadelphia-native performer, educator, and producer with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Penn State and an MA in Theatre Education from NYU. A former Broadway and national tour performer (Gypsy, A Chorus Line), she has appeared in numerous regional productions across the country.
A dedicated mentor and mother of two, Mindy is passionate about helping kids grow through the power of the arts. She is the Co-Founder and Producing Artistic Director of Music Theatre Philly, a premier training ground for young performers, known for its inclusive, high-caliber musical theatre education.
Mindy is also a partner in At Rise Creative, a producing partnership founded by Michael Arden and Dane Laffrey, that create groundbreaking theatrical experiences. Among many successes is the 2023 Tony Award for Parade, which set box‑office records at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre.
